Our founder, Shanell Sykes, MSN, RN, has been a registered nurse for over 15 years with experience in healthcare leadership, staff development, and compliance. While working in both hospital and long-term care settings, Shanell saw a clear gap: too many training programs focused on theory, while healthcare professionals were left struggling with the practical skills and regulatory knowledge needed to succeed in Maryland’s assisted living environment.
