Our founder, Shanell Sykes, MSN, RN, CM/DN, is a Registered Nurse and Certified Manager/Delegating Nurse with over 15 years of experience in healthcare leadership, staff development, clinical oversight, and regulatory compliance.
Throughout her career in hospital, ambulatory, and long-term care settings, Shanell recognized a critical gap: many training programs focused heavily on theory, while healthcare professionals were left navigating complex real-world regulations without practical guidance. In Maryland’s assisted living environment—where compliance with COMAR 10.07.14 and safe delegation practices are essential—this gap can directly impact resident safety and facility licensure.

The organization delivers structured and compliance-driven training programs that prepare healthcare professionals not just to pass exams—but to confidently lead, document, delegate, and operate within Maryland regulatory standards. Each course is designed to reflect the real responsibilities of an Assisted Living Manager, Medication Technician, or Delegating Nurse, emphasizing decision-making, documentation integrity, and survey-readiness.
